Publishing activities unit carries out activities related to the publication of scientific, professional, and educational publications in printed and electronic form. The Unit monitors and supports scientific, teaching, and research activities through the publication of books, proceedings, journals, textbooks, monographs, and other publications.

The Unit coordinates the entire publishing process — from the receipt and review of manuscripts, through editing, proofreading, and design, to technical preparation and printing of publications. It is responsible for the graphic design of publications, which includes creating the visual identity of editions, designing covers, the internal layout of text and illustrations, adapting digital formats, and using professional graphic design software to achieve a high-quality appearance of publications.

The Unit cooperates with authors, editors, reviewers, graphic designers, and printing companies, coordinating all steps to ensure the quality and timely publication of materials. It also monitors copyrights and agreements related to publications and keeps records of published works.

The Unit is responsible for the promotion and dissemination of University publications, the organisation of book presentations, professional discussions, and other events promoting the scientific and professional work of the University. In addition, it monitors trends in publishing and proposes new formats and digital innovations to ensure that the University’s publishing activities are in line with contemporary standards.

The Unit also organises and monitors the process of publishing University publications in accordance with the publishing plan, keeps records of ISBN numbers, sends legal deposit copies to the National and University Library, exchanges publications with other institutions, and carries out the distribution of University publications.
